First photos of the production truck. What do you think?

Same here but that's just how the game is played unfortunately. If Ram kept to the original design we would be looking at a +$150k pickup or just something well beyond what EV pickups on the market currently go for.Disappointed with production model changes compared to concept. Usually the case with all manufacturers. The concept version made the truck look more unique. I liked the suicide doors, multi-function tailgate and pass through into cab which appear to have been removed. The interior remains impressive. Also read 4qtr 2024 production start date. There will be many other truck brand options to consider by then.
The concept was not a truck. That thing looked awful. Glad they decided to stick with the true Ram look! I’m much more likely to buy this vs one that looked like that hideous concept!Disappointed with production model changes compared to concept. Usually the case with all manufacturers. Well you are right about one thing the production model is the true Ram classic design that looks like the truck your dad would of owned 20 years ago. Well, except for the LED lights. I was hoping for something more futuristic and innovative like the concept model with at least a cab pass through where I could at least store my fishing rods in the bed with the tailgate closed. I fell for the marketing hype where this would be a new looking truck. Throwing electric motors and a frunk on the current truck design is what Ford and Chevy did. I was expecting more from Ram when their advertising showed this was going to be something new and innovative. The concept design was what I was interested in buying. Just a disappointment. The concept was not a truck. That thing looked awful. Glad they decided to stick with the true Ram look! I get it, it can be a letdown when the production model doesn't look like the production model. Are you still going to consider getting the Ram @Joatmon? Or are you going to look for something else?Well you are right about one thing the production model is the true Ram classic design that looks like the truck your dad would of owned 20 years ago. Welcome to the forum @vandenbossm! It definitely made sense for Ram to stick with a more traditional truck shape. Have you reserved a spot for the pre-orders?The concept was not a truck. Since I’m not ready to purchase a new vehicle now I’m still interested in the Rev along with other vehicles. I’ll have to see what options become a reality on the Rev when production time approaches. Maybe wait for the Ram 1500 with the Hurricane I-6 or a Ram SUV where I can put my fishing rods inside. With limited working charging stations in the US I still have premature electrification.I get it, it can be a letdown when the production model doesn't look like the production model.
